t5 fixture

Is there something wrong with a fixture like this?

I would be worried with the combination of no glass and no waterproof sockets.

That is a good find and could work. For better performance and to make the bulbs last longer I would retrofit a fan or two or would have an external fan blowing across.

It seems you need to install the power cord and you might want to install two (if possible) to do dusk and dawn; you could safely run it as is but you are just gonna have all bulbs going on/off at the same time.

Not really, most fixtures that we use are like that. If you are worried you can add the cover "This light fixture is available with lens or wire guard options"

That's fairly cheap, IME you get what you pay for in this hobby. I would put a cover and incorporate fans like said above. Nice they have 5 year warranty on ballast.
