need help on setting up all glass twin flow
I have a all glass 125 with twin over flows. The tank is level tested it with a level. One over flow has a wet-dry rated for a 125
with a mag 7, the other one is a sump rated for a 125 with a mag 7. the wet dry fills up quicker and the sump is not getting enough water. I have adjusted the over flows up and down on both still no great results. The returns are almost in both ends with the returns facing the end. The returns a 3/4 the intake is 1 inch. This is a fish only tank. Any ideas to resolve this ? ![]() |

You can't have 2 sumps without a connection between them to keep them balanced. You Need to go to a single sump, or have plumbing in between them.

Withgout plumbing in between the sumps, you need to provide a common flow path.
You could have both display drains into sump1 , then have sump1 overflow into sump2. Sump2 would pump back to the display. Or... Both drains into sump1. Sump1 pumps back to display and has a T to sump2. Sump2 drains back to sump1.

What size bulk heads do you recommend to connect both sumps.
