Do I need a grounding probe?
Hi Guys
I just installed my ORP probe and wanted to know if I have to install a grounding probe in order for it to work properly? |

I don't think anything, I just installed it after calibrating it last night and the reading was 123. There wasn't much info included with the ORP probe include so I searched around and came across a few article that indicates the probe needs a ground reference in order to work reliably. I did go to pinpoints web site and they said the probe will need several days to come to an accurate reading. From last night to this morning it is now at 174.

Sounds like it is heading in the right direction. A grounding probe would be a good idea for safety if you are also using GFI's.
