Icecap 660
I'm sure this has been asked on here before so forgive me for asking again. I know that a 660 ballast can run up to 16 feet of bulbs. So can 1 660 ballast run 8 24" T5HO's???
Thanks tgriffin |

If memry serves, the 660 can only run up to 4 bulbs. The 16' statement maks sense in that you could run 4-4' bulbs.
Also, the wattage limitations are a bit different for T5's versus VHO (which the ballast is designed for). Long story short, you can run your 4 bulbs, but not 8. |

Yeah up to 4 bulbs or 440w whichever comes first basically. You'll need 2x 660's for that many. Keep in mind if you don't want to overdrive and worry a lot about cooling and bulb life, can go with cheaper ballasts like workhorse, advance etc.
