Terrarium as Sump for cube aquarium?

So in my quest to find a cheap tank to be my sump in awkward 60g cube stand... I think I found the best option so far:

http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products..._terrarium.php

18x18x12 instead of the normal 18x18x18 commonly available for aquariums. Internal room in stand is about 22x22x31. I plan to keep an ATO jug outside of the stand.

As far as I can tell, it seems to be designed to be water tight long term. Any thoughts if this wouldn't work for a reef saltwater setup?

Most terrariums are made of very thin glass and cheap silicone. I personally wouldn't but that's jmo.

Hmmm doesn't seem like there's a way to find out how thick the glass is.
