Lighting schedule

Hello RC,

I have a question for everyone. How should I run my marine orbit lights. what colors when? What intensity? How long? How long for sunrise and sunset? Thanks in advanced

If your tank is 12" deep, or maybe 18" deep, maybe, you can run them on for 6 to 10 hours and you'll be OK. If your tank is more than 18" deep... good luck. The 0.5 watt leds just are enough to get PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation) that deep in the water. Current and Marineland led fixtures are for shallow tanks or fish only tanks.
