Float Switch on M1 or L1 Vectra pump driver
Has anyone successfully wired in a float switch to the new EcoTech M1 or L1 Vectra quiet drive driver input. EcoTech has not released their switch yet, and I must have one inline in order to prevent overflows into the living room. My aquarium is 750 Gallons and and has had 2 freak incidents with water overflowing top of tank. Wife is NOT allowing that to happen a3rd time. Need float switch application asap

If water is overflowing main display i would look to the drains as being the issue? What type of overflow are you using? You may want to incorporate an emergency drain to prevent dt overflow

set up does not allow an emergency overflow, Center of room design, all panels viewable. Can not add anymore over flow. we need power interrupt option only. If pump is shut off, no way can it over flow. There are 3 separate tanks with 4 overflows already. Its a very custom set up.

Are you running an aquarium controller? If an apex with a breakout box could add a float switch there and with correct coding shut off power plug to vectra via apex breakout box. Or try reducing return flow from vectra and balance it with your drain. Sounds like there are times the drain gets clogged or something causing the overflow
