Lighting: Planning a 48" 75G tank - shadow concern

I was originally looking at a 48" Reebreeders Photon V2, but I was told that I would be dealing with an annoying shadow from the center brace of my tank, and am now thinking about getting 2 Kessil A360's...my LFS recommends a couple of cheap black boxes, but I want something more programmable/controllable. Help!

Looking at some photos of folks using 36 inch fixture over 48 inch tank, it doesnt seem like there is much of a shadow, if at all (i am sure owners will chime in with their 1st hand experience soon).

If you are really worried about shadow why not just get 2 Photon V2 16 inch fixtures. They are good for 24x24x24, so place one on each side of the brace and you shouldnt see that much of a shadow from the brace.

You will always get shadows with LED unless you pretty much cover the entire surface.

The new Orphek units look like the best option for led without having to buy a light for every 1.5sqft
