rock turning green??

My LR is turning the colour green. I dont have any green stuff on my glass or anything else just the rocks. Is smooth and doesnt come off easily. Not hair algae i think. All parameters are good and i use RO water. I have had the lights off for 3 days now because i had some red coloured stuff on my sand that was really long and clumpy. That is pretty much gone but the green stuff on my rock is still there. Anybody know what this is and how to get rid of it?

All is normal for a new tank. The green rocks will turn purple with time. I can't tell you how long, it varies greatly (the tank is 4 months old? depending on your calcium and mg content, maybe 3 more months). The red was cyano bacteria, also normal in a new tank, you probably haven't seen the last of it.

Sounds like regular coraline algae. It normally starts out as lime green for me, and then after a while it turns to purple. Just wait it out!
