Q for Velocity T4 owners

I have a T3 and love its quietness, but want a bit more flow, thinking of going to a T4 but see they come witha 1" hose barb, not an NPT fitting. Is it possible to change that out, or am I stuck with the hose barb?

Anyone? - I am picturing a hose barb as a push on fitting, not a threaded fitting - am I wrong?

Its a push on fitting like you describe. I wanted the NPT fitting but they didn't have that in the T4 model, which is unfortunate. I worked around it tho. Still a great pump tho.
