175 MH bulb SE
So heres the deal I am very confused on what new bulbs I should get for tank. I want a bulb that gives good growth but also gives a appealing look to the tank(more blueish). The bulbs I currently run now are what came in the hood when I purchased it, 5.5k bulbs(way yellow). The hood also has two actinic VHO 48inch bulbs but you cant really tell with my current bulbs. Anyone able to point me in a direction on which bulb gives off good color but also allows gives good growth?

Iwasaki 15K especially if you have an electronic ballast and don't want to have to have actinic supplementation.
Aqualine Blushke 13K is also good if you have a magnetic ballast and actinics. |

Another choice if you have a magnetic pulse start ballast (M137) is the Ushio 14k. You'll also need a M137 ballast to fire the AB 13k.
