Is this test kit any good APIâ„¢ Reef Master Test Kit?

For the price it is an excellent test kit. I rely more on my API kits than on my expensive inaccurate Salifert kits. The API just does not offer pinpoint accuracy.

API's are good kits for the money. Salifert has had some issues with their Alk kits recently but they're still one of the more accurate kits out there. Outdone only by LaMotte's kits it seems.

I actually just made a post in the Salifert forum regarding the accuracy of their kits. The syringe level included in my Alk kit is not accurate.

If I read that correctly, the issue you're having is with the syringe but not the reagents?

Well if you rely on the syringe to give you an accurate water reading, which the reagents rely on a specific amount of water to react properly... that may actually be the issue people are having.
