Lighting For a 20gal
hey guys starting up my 20gal reef. I am thinking I am probably going to put actinics on it to save on heat and electricity rather than putting a halide on it. My buddy was talking to me about building a LED fixture though. Do these even work long term or am I better off just getting T5s which im assuming I am what should I be looking at seeing as these will be my first T5s.

ive seen a store display of a solaris and is been running for some months now with softies lps and crocea clams and everything in the tank is bleaching big time. the lights dont even look bright.
its a shallow edgeless tank like 12" deep and 24" long, so youd think if your getting the same par as a 20K 250w MH that would be enough for softies and lps atleast???
