Overflow tube not holding water...anyone know why?
I have a basic U-tube siphon overflow on my tank that had been working fine for several months. However, it has recently started to lose its siphon for lack of a better term. The flow through the tube gets visibly less and less. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

Most likely you return pump has gotten clog so it doesn't have the flow needed to keep a good siphon. Clean you utube and return pump/piping should fix this problem.

I could increase the flow on my return pump since it usually only runs about 50%. Will that fix my problem if I bump up the flow a little?

Yes it should as long as the u-tube is clean.
