sumps are confusing

one of my many stupid questions. if i was to get a truvu platinum series 75 this would be my filtration, right? i know it doesn't include a protien skimmer but i could put that in the sump, right? does it come with an input and output that i hook up to the tank or do i buy that sepratly. does anyone have this sump and could explain it to me. thanks so much.

I looked it up and it has a 10x10 skimmer chamber, but no skimmer. You also have to buy the tubing from the tank to the sump, and back from the sump back to the tank. http://www.truvuaquariums.com/mwdpsrf75.html
