Octopus NW pumps = OR NW pumps?

performance i dont know. I have owned OR's as return pumps and they are great, inexpensive and very quiet.

Do a search i have seen several threads about the Octo pumps and they are usally not that positive

the octopus pumps are copies of the ocean runners, pretty much the same

They look like they used the same plastic molds and everything. I'm wondering how the Octopus needlewheel pump works and what's included. In the Aquacave pic I don't see any way air gets into the pump.

the octo. ships w/ a venturi & hose.

The Octo's are to the OR's as the genx's are to the sedra's. Cheaply made but they work fairly well. But the ko's have some probs. Just depends on what you have in your budget.
