koralia pump enough?
IS a Koralia 1 (400gph) enough flow for a 30g soft coral reef tank? I have two small maxijets but want to get rid of some of the of the pumps in my tank. I was hoping one koralia would be enough.

i would go with the koralia 3. that does 850gpg which would give you 28.3x turnover, or you could go with (2) koralia 2s which would be 1200gps for a total of 40x turnover. remember, the koralias DO push out the gph they are rated at, BUT it is a much wider flow so it will seem a little weaker.

2 koralia 2s sound about right.

would be better to have a koralia 2 on each side of the tank pointed towards each other. this will create a more turbulent random flow.
