ID of this weird algae
I had this piece of LR sitting in stagnant saltwater for over a year, I added it to my friends 90 gal and it was ok for a few months but recently it has been growing patches of very fuzzy/fine/brown almost slimy algae. The fish wont touch it and I was wondeing if I should take it out. I was just thinking that the rock prob has a lot of nitrate soaked into it from die off and lack of h20 changes.
