drilling overflows on 6' 150 tank - recoms ???

hello

have a 150gal tank

wanting recommendations as to the best way to drill it for overflows - that is corner or center overflow - then how many holes should be drilled.

any recoms ?

Make sure the bottom is not tempered if you plan to drill the bottom.

I would go one 1.5" in each corner. Or 2x 1.5" in single center.

Diamond hole saw, plumbers putty dam filled with water around area to be drilled or buddy with a hose. Put duct tape on the bottom portion of the hole, it helps reduce chipping as you finish drilling through. Rub your rabbit foot, wear your four leaf clover shirt, etc.....Start hole saw at an angle to get a good bite then slowly angle back to vertical. Let the weight of the drill push down on the bit/tank. Good luck!
