Made the leap--own two corals now

Well, all. After much preparation, I purchased two hardy corals.

Here they are, a green polyp (what I think is a zoanthus) and a rock with a few purple/blue mushrooms.

I'm happy to report that they both look fuller and happier/healthier in my tank after 24 hours than they did in the LFS!

First corals are fun... Mine were green stripe mushrooms which are now are starting to grow out of control

For you, the addiction begins. Enjoy it.

AAHHHHH, The rights of passage.....

Wow, I can't believe I can actually remember the first coral I bought was some pulsating xenias, that was a long, long time ago.

word! I've had some green mushrooms, purply zoos (or polyps? not 100%) and a green candy cane for about 10 days. it's tough to leave the tank now...

not to mention, you almost have 100 posts as well. movin on up lol

those mushrooms are nice!
