choc. star and unchin in reef tank
i have a chocolate chip star and a long spine sea urchin in my tank that i have been converting to a reef tank. i have heard that they are bad in reef tanks, but seem to be fine. are they hurting my corals when i'm not watching, should i get rid of them or are they ok.

My urchin is fine in my tank. He pretty much sticks only to coralline algae. I used to have a choc. star and he demolished a colony of polyps as soon as he found them, which took only a couple of days. IMO, i'd lose the starfish and keep the urchin.
