My LFS let me have this today. Think it's some sort of cucumber. Tiger tail? Something tells me it might be more trouble than it's worth though. It's still in the bag. Any information would be great.

Certainly appears to be a cuc. It'd be easier to ID with a closer shot. Certainly could be a tiger tail though.

Are these things bad for a DSB? Am I running a risk of wiping out the whole tank by adding it? Will it eat all the life within the sandbed? Will I have to target feed it? Any other information provided would be great. Got till 8 to figure out whether or not I'm going to keep it or give it back.

They're detritus eaters primarily, but will accept meaty foods too. They shouldn't wipe out your sandbed, but there are reports it can go toxic when stressed or dying.
