strange growth

hey, i am fairly new to the whole saltwater thing and i have a question about something living on a piece of my live rock i bought yesterday. (see pic) it is a translucent white tube like structure, possible resembling a branch of xenia...like when it covers new areas



do you guys have any ideas of what this growth could be?

definitly not xenia. could be a sponge.

could also be a small fan worm/duster. Hard to tell from the pic
