Cool Nassarius snails

I might be showing off my "greenness" to the hobby, but I can't contain my excitement....I've got a new LFS in town and couldn't be happier. The old store always told me that snails were snails and that the different kinds were for decoration. So I have a tank full of turbo snails. This new LFS showed me Nassarius snails, hope I didn't screw that up, and they are so cool. When food goes in the tank, they rise out of the sand bed like zombies from a graveyard. Plus, as an added bonus, my wife says they have little "snorkels". As most guys know, cute=i get to spend more $$$ on the fish tank!!!!

I love the nassarius snails. I call them submarine snails, because of their "periscopes" and the way they rise up and go down into the substrate They're great scavengers to have.

Yeah Nassarius snails are amazing. I wouldn't do a tank without them.

Anybody that thinks snails are slow creatures has never seen a Nassarius winging across a tank. Whoosh!
