Enough light for anything? SPS? Clams?
I recently started a 75 reef that I would like to be primarily an SPS tank. I have the Nova extreme with 8 54 watt bulbs. The fixture has a single reflector...but I figured 432 watts would be good without. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Yep -- that's what I have in my 90, no problem with SPS (acros, monti's, millis, etc.)
Haven't tried clams, but shouldn't be a problem.

You say 432 watts, but how much of that is usable lighting. What is your breakdown between white spectrum and actinic ? This would have a big effect on what you can keep.

In a 75 you should be fine for light. Clams should do fine at the bottom. If you had good reflectors everything would do fine at the bottom of the tank and keep very very good color, you might notice that some SPS do not color up as well at the bottom as they do at the top of the tank, but they will still grow very very well.
