Getting Coralline to grow

Hi everyone, my tank has been set up for over a year, and I'm still not getting much coralline... I don't really have any. What conditions do coralline algae need? My aquarium is 37 gallons, no sump or skimmer, I have a koralia 2 and a seio m620.

1. it takes time
2 you have to keep your cal & alk right
3 might try scraping off what you have..making it a seed

You can have some of mine!! LOL!! Damn stuff is EVERYWHERE... When you start out, you really want it to grow....then after awhile it starts to become a PITA... It is taking over my fuge as well. Heck it is even in the tube INSIDE my phosban reactor. For coralline algae to grow, you need good water parameters (ALK 8-10 dkh, CA 375-450ppm, MG 1200+ ppm) and some coralline algae. You can purchase a very nicely coated piece of live rock and place in your setup. If your water parameters are inline then it should start to spread. I also heard if you scarp that piece of coralline encrusted rock underwater it will help seed the other rocks. Not sure on that one...
