Has anyone here used the new D-D Giesemann Powerchrome AquaBlue+ 54W 48 inch T5's
I'm thinking about purchasing these D-D Giesemann Powerchrome AquaBlue+ 54W 48 inch T5 High Output Fluorescent Lamp's for my tank and was wondering if they would be too blueish/pink.
According to Giesemann's site they claim that; It can be used for growing SPS corals up to 80cm in the aquarium. I do have quite a few SPS fargs in the tank and would like to take advantage of this if I can. Geissman also claims that this bulb in particular has a special 60:40 combination of 6000K and 22000K (approx) phosphor blend. Thanks for your time, |

I had one in my old T5 setup. It gave a nice color, almost like a 14k Pheonix look. Wasn't too blue IMO, was much better than the stock nova bulbs.
