Proposed New Tank
I am now back on this forum after 3 years absence (I've been traveling on business but am now retired
![]() I am slowly getting my act together to jump into this hobby (or maybe just a toe or two to start ![]() Anyone see any disadvantages with this configuration. Thanks Alan

I have the same size tank, 120 gallons. The only thing you should consider is going 60 inches long. It will give you 150 gallons and more room lengthwise for aquascaping, but more importantly that extra length that the larger tangs like for swimming.

I think that the setup is fine I am just curious why the external overflow is this for added room in the tank?
