What does a rose anemone eat?

What should I feed a rose anemone? Anyone have any specific brands that they work well?

Small pieces of any meaty seafood. Silversides work well, as do table shrimp and mysis. The piece should be no larger than the anemone's mouth--usually no bigger than a 1/4". You should also soak the food in a multi-vitamin, like Selcon.

they eat clowns, occasional arrow crabs, and sometimes a blue hippo tang, so make sure you're careful with your livestock choices!

For the most part . . . They can burn anything that comes into contact, including clowns that have not fully acclimated to the BTA.

You should feed the BTA once or twice per week. If the BTA is in good health, you should not have any problems feeding it. It should grab onto the food immediately and begin to eat. It is highly recommended that you find/create/build some type of cover that you can place over the BTA while it's feeding so that any fish and/or shrimps you have can't steal the food--they will definitely do this, and you'll be wasting time/effort trying to feed the BTA only to have it eventually die. I've read about people using strawberry baskets and similar vessels to cover the BTA.
