seio 1600 placement help
I just got 2 used seio 1600's and want to increase the flow in my tank and put them in the right place please help me know where to put them here is a pic of my setup.....

not to close to the surface. i have the 1100 and if i put it any less then 4" from the surface of the water i get a vortex of air down to it.

PLEASE DONT USE GREAT STUFF (THE YELLOW STUFF) IN YOUR TANK........USE POND FOAM (THE BLACK STUFF).. I BEG YOU! Great stuff====$5 a can 24-48 hour cure Epoxy to cover it====little as $5 for small projects or up to $100+ for larger projects and another 24-48 hour cure I hope you covered it well cuz if you didnt it will start to break down in a few months sand is another added cost to cover up the yellow. Pond foams====$9-$15 a can 24-48 hour cure DONE! You can cover it with sand if you want to (YOU DONT HAVE TO) though but thats added cost again Current Tank Info: 75 gal under way |

kool i put one on the far left and 1 in the center pointing towards the overflow and slighly down and if all is good i will take out my mr. aqua 800 gph right now im runnin 2 1500 seio's and 2 mr aqua 800 gph at half size tank the seio's are 5 inch's underwater and in the sump i run a quiet one 5000 @ 1300 gph and a 15 watt UV sterilizer with a small refugium that i need to make larger soon also run a 125 gallon rated coralife skimmer..
