Knop Calcium Reactor

I was thinking of getting the Knop-C Calcium reactor for my 90g. What are everyones opinions on this reactor?

I would get a GEO, I had a knop before, and the GEOs are just better in everyway.

GEO stuff is top notch, but I have never had one of his calcium reactors.

Blankenship could you explain your post. How is geo so much better?

From the construction to the overall ease of dialing it in. In addition, the probe port is standard on the GEOs and I believe it an additional option you have to purchase for the KNOPs.

The GEOS are very easy to clean as well. They just have an overall better design.

i have a knop also, very easy to set up and dial in, i hava effluent cup to hold my ph probe to check effluent coming out very easy t clean and restart, and dont see where the geo it built any better

Everyone has there opinion, I have had both and from my experience the GEO is a tank compared to the Knop as far as build.

GEOs reputation is one of quality among hobbyist, as far as Knop goes its a fine reactor, I just think GEOs are significantly superior.

I am using the knop c on my 90 and love it. I have never seen media dissovle faster and use soo little co2. I am setting up a 120 soon and it will have 170 gallons total water but I may continue to use the knop c but if I have to buy a larger reactor I will get the knop hd or s IV. Most reactors will do the same thing some are just more efficient at doing it. Plus anything that comes with an eheim pump is a well made product.
