What kinds of shrimp/crabs/stars/inverts do I want in my 125 gallon?
I have just upgraded to a 125 gallon from a 55 and am finally able to get some invertebrates. My previous tank had been treated with copper, so I was not successful in keeping any shrimp.
Which inverts would you recommend? I'm interested in shrimp, crabs, starfish, etc., but I don't know which can and can't go together. I have a tank with 2 anemones, some ricordea, zoas, and a torch right now. Thanks for your help! |

I want a pom pom crab, but someone told me that you actually don't see them much.
Also, someone told me that pistol shrimp will attack other crabs, shrimp, and invertebrates. Is that true? I guess what I'm asking for is for recommendations of inverts that will 1) be beneficial to my tank, in eating algae, cleaning, detritus (much needed right now!) and 2) those that are especially fun to watch, have personality, etc. |
