LOTS of light, my porities actually started to turn red from brown.
But its VERY yellow at startup and burns in really white with a hint of yellow to it. The XM 10k is actually a nicer bulb to me. But I wound up going back to the xm20k after 3 months. It was just to icky. FYI i was using the 400w SE one. |

Replaced my original Current 10k's with these and do not like them at all, way to yellow for me.

Have the 14k Ushios 250w DE. Way yellow compared to the 14k Hamiltons I had before.
Just a feeling but would say better grow with the Ushio (than the Hamiltons) |

I should point out they look whiter than the pics in person. they look typical 20k/pre burned in blue in the pics but they are a little whiter than your average 20k bulbs. I'm not swithing anytime soon lol.

I replaced the 250w 10k bulb in my Outer Orbit with an Ushio 14k, and was a little disappointed. It was very blue and didn't seem very bright. This is contrary to what many people have posted though, so maybe I just got a funky bulb?

How recent are those pictures? Have you seen a color improvement with the switch from sunpaq 14k to 20k? |
