Reminds me of my grandpa, trying to write out, "I love you all," after his stroke.

generally not a big enough biomass to cause trouble when they breakdown.

No change in my parameters despite eggs being continuously laid. Like I said before I think they're snail eggs but my cerith eggs look much less organized. I wonder if they could be some other snail in the tank.

Do any other commonly kept snail reproduce like that?

Eric

Negligible. Definitely nothing to worry about, and may provide a great (albeit small) source of food for corals and whatnot.

I have a Mystery Wrasse that eats them -- of course he'll eat anything -- the pig!

I have often wondered the same thing and would love to get a qualified answer on this. I've always figured that it was an indication that I was doing things right if they were reproducing. Nothing more than a guess though.

Thats more of what I was eluding to. Do happy snails laying eggs mean that my parameters are good and I am doing something right?

Or, will these things lay eggs, even in unstable tanks.

I've probably seen you at All American. My cousin lives on Brooklyn Ave off of Sunrise Hwy. I practically grew up there. Nice to find somebody local.

It is a sign of good water quality, they will not breed in substandard conditions.

BTW I am in Franklin Square.
