Leather Finger Coral

I thought at first he was just falling over but he is actually detatching himself from his rock.
He is expanded and looks to be feeding, just detatching.
What gives and how do i give him a new perch?
Thx.

I would wedge it against two rocks and it will attach in a week or so.

Im not sure what your running for light, but there is a chance that the leather feels like he's getting to much. It doesn't look like there are any burn marks though. Just wedge him in a gap in a rock some where along the bottom. his perch already looks like hes near the bottom, so im not too sure. this is just the way some of my leathers acted when they had too much light. Also what is your temp running??? they also do the same when it gets too hot.
