Favourite Goby
I have decided that the first fish I am going to buy will be a Goby , they look like they could be very interesting to observe.
looking through some of the books I have I can't decide what to go with. So I though I would ask those that have them or have had them what there favourite Goby is . My Aquarium is rather small at 46g so keep that in mind. Thanks T Kish

Yasha Hasha
Yasha Hasha with a pistol shrimp pal are by far my favorite,
Not sure I'd start out with one if your new at this however. Any goby/pistol pair will keep you entertained! Here's a pic (not from me, found it on nanoreefs)

Yasha's look cool, but mine is fairly reclusive. He and his shrimp friend built their home in the back corner of the tank and even when they are out, its not on a side of the tank I ever see!

I have 2 of these guys and they hover above thier hole all day. when I come they dart in and then peek out waiting for food. I like them.

My favorite Goby by far. Make sure you have a lid though. A jumper for sure, as I lost 3 including one through egg crate. Always eating through your substrate, keeping it clean. Keeps busy constantly, seems to never stop eating the substrate. The best bulldozer ever.

I have a pair of ORA Tiger Gobies that have a ton of personality as well.
I think most people would consider them small and drab, but they are great additions, and small enough that they dont take up any room! |

I may be forced to put a glass top on the tank as most of the smaller fish that are reef safe seem to be jumpers. T Kish

I prefer the yellow watchman...(see my avatar). Him and my skunk cleaner shrimp have quite the relationship...
