were gonna need some kind of a lead here. What do you think may have caused it, Any idea at all? Theres just way too many possibilities without any info on your tank.
I would change 20% of your water volumn and run carbon asap.

The only thing I can thing of that might have spawned was a pom pom crab that I saw was carrying eggs. But Im not sure if it would make my tank a Milky white.

Doing another water change now......when I went to sleep all the test levels were normal except the nitrate (has been 20 ppm since I had the tank running) but everything was fine water was nice and clear. When the wifey woke up she said it was like this. So this all happened in the span of about 7 hours

Its like pulling teeth.. List everything about your tank and all parameters you know and what you do to the tank and the setup. That'll help immensely for all trying to help you.

Turn the pumps off for a minute and see if it clears up. It could be air... something could have spawned... something could have gotten added to your tank?

Feeling a lil slow right now.....I dont know if this helps or matters but I was running low on salt yesterday so I had to mix two different kinds of salts(instant ocean and sea chem) the instant ocean we stopped using because it sat under the sink kind of open and when we would do a water change it would make the tank look cloudy after but not as cloudy but you would see clumps of salt still floating (the reason why we stopped using it) maybe this had something to do with it? Although it was fine after the water change yesterday

hmmmmm. You say it was OPEN under the sink? Do you keep household chemicals under there too? How is your livestock looking? also, how long do you let your waterchange water mix before you add it to your tank? I doubt this has anything to do with it, but the more info the better. Was your wife doing any house cleaning around the tank?

kidkaos520,
to add to the possibilities it could be a bacteria bloom of either over dosing part 1 (alk) or a carbon source like vinegar, sugar or vodka. or another possibility would be a spawning event.

I'm going to go with salt precipitate. If left open and not sealed salt can and will solidify and calcium/ alk with precipitate off when it gets wet again ( causing cloudiness)
