what is the proper way to clean sand?
how do u guys clean sand before u put it in tank? what is the easiest most effective way? do u need to wash it with ro/di water? thx!

I wash it a little at a time in a big tub using my hose and tap water
If you do it in small batches it will be much more effective and there will be less dust in the water. |

just use water from the tap? wouldn't that cause algae bloom?
