Copperband in 30 G for a few weeks?

Well guys, i have a bad aptasia problem in my 30G at this moment. Ive tried everything from aptasia away to peppermint shrimp to try and get rid of this crap and its just growing. I wanted to pick up a copperband for my larger tank, would It be alright to put him in the 30G until this crap is gone? Wouldnt be for long.

The problem is that they don't always eat aiptasia. In fact, some of them never eat at all in captivity.
