missing naso.

noticed my 3.5 " naso has diapeered from the tank can find him anywhere.

only option is if he died or something and the hermit crabs got him.
is it possible for hermit crabs to consume that size fish overnight??

I dont think they could take it apart over night, thats a big fish. He is probably in the rock work somewhere, dead or alive.

Do you see any of the hermits scurrying around, or are they all gone? Like they would be hidden in the rock work, eating the fish?
I would keep an eye on your ammonia and do a big water change if it starts to rise.

Good luck

my girlfriend had a diamond goby disappear one night and he was gone for over a month... searched the entire tank, even removed all the rock and went through the sand when we moved the tank and found nothing. just the other night he pops out of no where and he looked really skinny but he is eating great... hope this is the same case with yours naso, just that its hiding...
