Hang on Skimmers

Hi,

I have a 100 gallon tank that I am looking to set up with fish and soft corals. It has an integrated sump along the back of the tank wall. I want to add a hang on skimmer, but the only area i could add it is 7 inches long. Are there any good skimmers out there? How about the Aqua C Remora maxi jet 1200 (6 inches long, up to 75 gallons). I like the reef octo 300bh, but it is 11 inches long, and depending on where the input/output is, may not fit. Any suggestions? Thnx

check out the Warner Marine or ATB for good hang ons for that size tank.

It'll be tough to find a good one for that large of a tank. You should consider adding an overflow box and a sump. Will give you tons of options.

I'd stay away from the Aqua C Remora. They're loud and not that great, IMO and experience.

Yea, i'd pass on the remora. Only hot's that could handle that size would be a wm2, mce 600 and the swc extreme. Not sure if any would fit 7" though.
