Spirulina and Cyano!

I know the two are the same thing, but one of the cubed foods that I feed with is "enriched" w/spirulina. Could this be the cause of the horrible cyano outbreak.

IMO, when feeding any frozen food (besides Rod's food), it is best to rinse the food in RO/DI water, before feeding the tank. This will help with the phosphate issue.
