Odyssey Light Issue

I recently purchased a new 48" t5ho 4 bulb light fixture made by odyssey. I have bought their products before and have regularly had to modify but for the price i'm ok with that.

So with the new 48" light i noticed that the "actinic" bulbs looked a bit green, when i look at it next to my 29g tank it is really noticable, it almost looks like a teal color. I swapped out the bulbs to make sure that it wasn't them, same result.

So my question is has anyone else had this problem? Is it possibly under powered ballasts?

Yeah that is the same light that i have but mine doesn't look quite as nice. The color on you tank looks much better. I wonder if they wired something wrong because i had an open in one of the light circuits that i narrowed down to an uncrimped wire. How you do you for get to crimp a wire??? Maybe i'll take it all apart tomorrow and look everything over.

Yes, the T5's are teal blue/green.

I replaced mine with current slimpaqs and they have a great blue/purple color to them. The odyssea bulbs are a fill in until you get better bulbs.
