get rid of antheia

hi all iam pretty sure what i have is antheia. its pink with 5 or 6 feather like fingers on them and there taking over my tank.. how can i get rid of them without taking all the rocks out that they have covered? could i use joes juice and take them out that way??

Remove as much as you can and then cover the rest in kalk paste. This work with everything I've wanted to remove from the tank.

Be careful with the pH rising too quickly.

Two possible options, try taking some vinegar and puting it is a small bowl and microwaving it for 1 minute, then draw it up with a syringe, with an actual needle on it. Try injecting a few branchs, they are all intertwined so you may luck out and kill a bunch at a time, try this a few times over the course of a couple weeks. Or, try setting smaller rocks on top of the big clumps so they are forced to crawl up on the rock, trying to reack light again, then you can remove the rock.

I'm not sure if you meant aiptasia? Is so use aiptasia-x.. Its effective and also kills majano...

can i take the whole rock out cover it in kalk paste,let it die then wash it off with saltwater and put it back into the tank?

I saw some thread/video of someone who made a vacuum for anthelia/xenia. He basically took some 1/2" tubing and put a couple disposable razors on the end. I think he just took apart one of the cheap disposable razors, bend the blade, and stuck it into the tubing such that it arc'd out to create a siphoning/shaving device.
