Oh, I wish that was my tank...
it is one of the display tanks at the Waikiki aquarium... No they dont move that much, they more sit and wait for prey items to go by, but I dont personally think they are boring, I think they are very interesting Besides being stationary means that better pictures than mine should be easy to come by!

which of these could I do without a skimmer

Sea monkeys are so 1970.
Get something more ancient/modern. Like dinosaur shrimp. Really. http://www.triops.com/ I hear they grow out of control if you dose Purple-up, have a Sea Clone skimmer and use an Eco-Aqualizer.

im looking for a low maintenance tank that doesn't require too much fancy equipment since my main tank gets that biggrin.gif which idea do you think would be best? (besides sea monkeys lol)
