Non-custom rimless aquairums 90g + (do they exist?)
I want a rimless aquarium for my next build, ideally a 120g rimless. I noticed that oceanic makes a new rimless series but it is only around 50 gallons.
Most of the custom tank builders are far away and the shipping would be extremely expensive. Are they any builders that would typically ship to a LFS that build larger rimless aquariums (marineland, oceanic, aga, etc)? |

Glasscages makes some larger than that, if you trust them.

I'm looking into a tank from Miracles this spring and called them to get a quote and they deal with my LFS, Salty Critter, directly. There was no extra shipping charge to ship it to the store. Call up your LFS and ask if they deal with any custom builders and then go from there
It does suck that Oceanic doesn't make any larger rimless tanks. There Tech Series are nice though. |

Funny - I assure you there are shipping charges. They're just masked into the price they gave you. No one is going to ship a tank for free. Ha!
I believe you're going to need most 100+ gallon rimless tanks to be custom built. You're looking at $2k or more for rimless tanks & stands depending on what exact dimensions you are looking for. Glasscages recently sent me a quote for a 125g rimless (3/4" glass thickness) starphire front for $1,140 w/ black silicone. Stand was another $425 - unstained/unfinished. Shipping would run about $125. Total $1,690 + tax. Then you're getting a tank from a company that gets a lot of mixed reviews all over saltwater hobby forums. But that gives you an idea at what you're looking at. EDIT: I forgot to add, if you're looking for a deal - Check out the Elos USA sponsor forum here on RC. They have a custom 120g rimless for the sale price of $3,700 & a custom 200g for the sale price of $7,700. These prices are ONLY for the tank!
