Where to buy a skimmer stand?
Who sells skimmer stands for in sump skimmers? I assume they are adjustable?
Thanks, Ken |

I've done this too but everytime I want to change the height for adjustments I have to cut more PVC and do trial and error and cut more. I heard that there is a stand that is adjustable. How that works, I have no idea.

Your best bet is to don't let the water level fluctuate in the area where you keep the skimmer at, by putting a baffle to keep the water level same all the time. I do use eggcrates to adjust my skimmer. Example: my water level is always at 11 inches and my skimmer requires a 9 inch depth, so I make a square stand and the height I make it 2inches high.
Just make sure you have enough room in your sump are to able to lift your skimmer cup for cleaning. |

I am doing the same. My sump has a compartment with a constant water level of 9". This is where I will put the skimmer. What I was referring to was that this skimmer works well I believe between 6.5 to 8" depth. So instead of going back and forth cutting legs, maybe there is an adjustable stand. I'm lazy. :0

Was searching for the same thing as you and came across this in another thread. I believe JR Aquatics said they sold it. |
