Good or Bad Idea?
Thinking of buying a second diamond goby to hit other parts of my tank. My long time diamond goby stays pretty close to home. Have seen my tomini tang harassing him.....
Will the two diamond goby's fight? Also thinking of adding a black sea urchin to my acrylic tank to help address the excess coralline algae.... Are these bad ideas? Tank is 175g mixed reef tank.

They will probably fight at first, but in a tank that size, they should be able to find their own territory eventually.

I agree they should find their own territory and the urchin is a great idea with the excess coaline algea. I am partial to the long spine urchin

If you are lucky enough to get a member of the opposite sex, I think they will pair... not fight. Im not sure about sexing them though, I have never looked into it.
I think urchins are a great addition to most reefs.
