Our 240L rebuilt juwel aquarium

Hello..

We are a boy and a girl from Norway, with a 240L aquarium.

We started this aquarium in march 09.

We just bought more light because the original juwel light is not so good.
The armature is from giesemann so now we have 4 t5 lights

Im posting some pics and hope u post a note

The first pic is just with 2 juwel t5 ligth and the 2 pic is with 2 juwel and 2 giesemann aquablue pluss.
Im posting some pics of our corals and a pic from the outside of our house so u can see how bright the lights are.

Im not 100% to wrigth english but i hope u undrestand what i mean.

Thank u for looking at our aquarium

**Christine**

Welcome to RC. I don't think you are in the wrong forum.

But if you have 6 fishes in a 240L and 2 of them are tangs, it's better to keep it to yourself before the tang police get you. At the moment you should be fine, but if they do grow to their full size your tank will be very crowded. Biological process of fish waste will be problematic too.

Lol.. Tang police..

We have a good skimmer. It takes up to 500 liters aquarium.. So its fine now. But i know what u mean
Maby well get a bigger aquarium when they get bigger.

Lets hope the tang police don't come to norway and arrest me

Hi Christine,
I like the new lighting setup much better than the first. The tank looks very colorful and clean. Very good rockwork. I like the coral beauty you have. How about a closeup photo of it and some of the other fish? I know everyone likes to post coral closeups- but I like to see the fish too. Also, your English seems fine to me.

Hello..

Thank u

Yes, we thought it was a mutch better light now..
I took some pics of the fishes, but I have to warn u, the glass is not so clean now.. We are on day 5 on the vodka method becaus we had some nitrate so its a white film on the glass and i can't clean it before the white film is letting go of the glass

But i think i got some good pics..
We have a sixline wrass and it was not so easy to take a pic of it, but i tried

Is it hard to come by fish and coral in norway? I have seen reefs in sweden and the UK, but this is the first I have seen in Norway. I think your tank looks great by the way.

Thanks for the pics. I love the last one of the coral beauty in the rocks. You seem to have good luck getting the photos. Every time I try to take some of my fish , they all look like a blur. LOL I think your tank is progressing very nicely and I will continue to subscribe to this thread for updates.

That's a nice video, I like the arch. Do your clowns not get along? Noticed they were on opposite ends of the tank. Also, are they cinnamon or tomato clowns?

Thanks

The clown get along, but the little clown likes the little sinularia, the big sinularia and the mushroom. So its lives in all 3 But now it is in the big sinularia with the other clown..

They are tomato clowns

I used the algae scrape yesterday so now it is lighter in the back than it is on the video

Thank u for watching
