Digital Thermometer recommendation
Looking for a simple but accurate digital thermometer from my 40g tank. Who has something they really like? Not looking for a controller or anything complicated just accurate temp readings at a fair price.

honestly, I use the cheap stick on thermometers. I have thoroughly tested them against some very reliable, accurate professional thermometers and they have always been as accurate as necessary. Since they are so cheap, I have one on each side of my tanks and even the sump.

I bought two digital therm and they were both off by 2 - 4 degrees. I went back to the float therm.

You want a glass floaty. Digitals can be pretty bad.
The coralife units are pure junk.

I disagree a slight bit, I have have great experiences with my digital Won Brothers Titanium heater/controller unit. I have had a few elements that have needed replacing after a few years, but the controller itself has been very reliable over the past 4 years for me. They run about $65 buck most places I've seen, so the price is negligible, just my opinion.

True, but that's not a "digital thermometer" per say as most of us were thinking. They're the $5-15 units by companies like coralife, etc. Yours is an actual controller, and I would agree that it would be a good solution, as well as a ranco, apex, or any other solid actual heater/tank controller setup.
